1. I AM STILL ME.​


I fall, I fail, I cry. ​
It doesn’t matter. I am still me.​

She yells, she blames, she shames.​
It doesn’t matter. I am still me.​

They talk, they laugh, they judge.​
It doesn’t matter. I am still me.​

It was tough, it was rough, it happened.​
It doesn’t matter. I am still me.​

What matters is I am me. ​
And I am enough.​

2. YOU COME FIRST​


The first person you need to forgive is you.​
The first person you need to love is you.​
The first person you need to please is you.​
The first person you need to thank is you.​
The first person you need is the person in you.​


3. ​ SHOW, NOT TELL.​


If you’re trying to change someone by repeating what you want or complaining, your chances of success are slim. If it wasn’t their idea to change they likely are not ready for it and consequently:​

1. The change might not last.​
2. They might resent you.​
3. They might not change the way you want them to.​

So what do you do?​

Be the example of the change. ​

Instead of secretly wishing they would change or telling them to change, show them by setting an example every opportunity you get. Exhibit the behavior you seek out with the kindness of your heart and with the best of your intentions.​

Lead by example, not words. ​
But if you do use words, be sure to walk the talk.​ 🙌❤️

4. ​ TRIGGERS ​

The emotional trigger is not the enemy,​
it’s the reaction to the trigger that needs to be reviewed.​
and each time that reaction is transmuted, it becomes easier the next time, until the trigger is no longer a trigger.​
and the reaction becomes conscious action — a pure act of love and kindness. ❤️​
